As a child, Tony would sit close to the stage and watch the band
perform whenever his parents went out dancing. He began playing guitar
when he was 6 years old. He took up the pedal steel when he was 15. When he was in the seventh grade, Tony began playing guitar for
Sunday mass at St. Benedict's Catholic Church. In 1975 he and future wife,
Brenda, formed Cactus Country.
Musical influences include George Strait,
Alabama, 70's rock artists, and many of the classic country musicians.
