REX ALLEN JR. had a number of Top 10 Nashville hits in the 1970’s & 80’s, and is in the Western Music National Hall of Fame in New Mexico. He was also a regular on the Statler Brothers Show.  Cactus Country is his back up band when his shows bring him to Texas.  As a long time National Artist who's dad was also a hit singer and Western movie, we appreciate his comments

 THANK YOU and your team for everything that evening!  We greatly enjoyed the music and as always it was wonderful to see you and Brenda and the group.  The wedding could not have been more perfect, and we thank you for helping to make things extra special!  So exciting to know that Jason and Amanda have now created “Cactus Country history” as the 1^st couple to have you play at their wedding where you had also played at BOTH sets of parents’ weddings! 

 It’s so hard to believe that after all those months of planning and preparation that the “wedding of the century” (J) is actually over!!!!  Now Jason and Amanda have returned from Cabo and are settling in to their new home in Cestohowa and “reality”……. J

We attended two days and two nights of the Biggest Little Cowboy Event in LaGrange last month.....and NONE  of the six or so live bands were a good as Cactus Country!  There was Jake Hooker (his dad Tommy was good), Landon Dodd, Rocky King, Billy Mata, and a couple of others I can't remember....oh Miss Leslie Sloan was good.  But now I know how much I'd rather dance to your music.  You guys are incredibly accomplished and versatile.  The very best!

Truly, Tony, the Veterinarians and their guests loved Cactus Country and it showed!! In all the eight years that I have been working at SWVS, there has not been this fun, excitement and action on the dance floor ever with our group!!  (As a matter of fact, I pulled the dance floor because I did not expect our group to be dancing the night away). 

 We are excited that we chose the right entertainment that night - Cactus Country!!  Thank YOU and your group for a wonderful, fun, energized, entertaining evening.  Our group did not want it to end and they could have danced all night.

I work for Camp Lonehollow in Vanderpool, Texas. Every summer our counselors spend their Saturday nights at Criders. We love that place! In January we are having a counselor reunion out at Lonehollow and on Saturday night Jan. 15 and one of our ideas was to re-create Criders for our counselors. Every time I think of Criders I immediately think of Cactus Country. Ya’ll are the band that we always hope is there. So I was wanting information on booking Cactus Country for our reunion.

 Tony,   I just want to thank yall for doing such a great job at our reception.  The music and order of the songs were great.  Everybody including Jon and I enjoyed everything.  The grand march was so much fun too.  The next day everybody was talking about how much fun they during the grand march.  It was the talk of our gift opening on the Sunday after the wedding.  Now during the grand march I did lose the glass in one of my pictures frames because someone hit it and the glass broke, but it was all worth it to see the looks on people faces and how much fun they were having.
